Ran over to the track for a couple hours this afternoon (so I could wrench and not get anyone else sick as I am still hacking and coughing like a beast).

Got my 2 motors that were recently banned by ROAR (the sanctioning body for competitive RC in the US) in prep for the ROAR nationals in March.

And fixed both my 1/12 cars with new solid servo mounts, and stiffer more precise servo savers (for those who aren’t into RC: It’s the horn/lever that connects the servo to the steering links  – its spring loaded so in the case of a crash it doesn’t damage the servo).

Got a lot done, now back home and relaxing and resting up so I can kick the rest of this stupid cold.

I also had some new bodies painted up for Nationals by a painter at our track.
