Pics from the 2016 Backpacking Season

Catching up on posting some pictures from other backpacking trips from 2016.  This is a trip we did to the Comanche-Venable loop down in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.   This was a nice overnight of ~ 13 miles 4000ft of vert.

I did the hike with a good friend and a co-instructor I teach with in the CMC

The hike in was warm then at camp a storm rolled in for a short bit.

The next day we hiked up and over the Phantom Terrace in some truly crazy weather.  I will post some video clips next.   It was a fun and truly beautiful hike!
