After GoDaddy got in the habit of banning my IP’s because I am doing FTP transfers every minute of Denver skyline images (totaling 100mb/day) to a website I use to host data for this blog… I am done with them.
First they told me it was Level3 causing the issue, but when I pointed out to support that it was their firewalls that were blocking my static IPs, they just ignored me. So since I have a pretty beefy Azure lab environment, I just relocated everything over to the Azure App Services, and now everything is happy again, and working much better than before!
The fact GD’s firewalls see a super small FTP transfer every minute to a website FTP server as some kind of DDOS is pretty disturbing.
