Kate and I are planning a road trip this spring to check out some of the areas I rode through on the bike last year and the year before, and to explore a bit more of southern Utah and northern Arizona that neither of us have seen before.

We are using Jerome, AZ as our “destination” for this, but the majority of the 8+ day road trip is going to be in Utah and western Colorado.

Looking forward to a fun adventure with Kate, we always seem to have a blast when we do these kind of trips.  We are planning a mix of camping and staying in hotels on this trip.  We may very well just camp in the back of the Touareg or tent depending on the weather.

Current plans include a ferry across Lake Powell, visiting Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Natural Bridges, Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, and The Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

It’s going to be a full trip.  We’ll see how this goes, but we are just a little over 30 days from when we plan to take off on this trip.
