To keep with the theme of ‘contrast’ today is looking like one of the coldest, wettest, and most challenging rides of this trip, if not ever for me. Riding From Telluride, through Silverton down the ‘million dollar highway’ to pagosa springs, wolf creek pass and Creede. It’s going to rain and storm all day with a high along the route of 50 in Durango. Most of the ride will be in the low 40’s.

Going to be using every trick, every bit of cold weather gear I brought, and a lot of hot coffee today. Looking forward to the challenge. I have ridden in the very cold, and monsoon level rains… Just not both at the same time at altitude.
