This is the reason they say there is no more than a 5mi visibility in the I25 corridor and most of CO right now.    This is the NOAA smoke map showing the areas that are being influenced by various wild fires.    The place they almost all point to?  Denver.  Nice.

We were going to go to Mount Evans tomorrow, but seeing this makes me think we’ll just get a better view of the haze.   Similar to what we saw last year at this time when we went up there.

Happy we got our camping in last week before the entire state seems to be covered in a blanket of smoke from our neighbors to the south.  (Legend, Purple is dense smoke, Yellow moderate, etc….   The Blue area are fire danger areas.)
