Pics from the first backpacking trip of the season. We hit up Golden Gate Canyon State Park in CO. Pretty good distance and elevation and a fun hike. We hiked through snow pack that now and then let you sink down past your knee.
We also camped in a valley that was in a cloud for most of the day and night, which made for a wet but visually interesting campsite.
Funny though they say the campsite can fit 3 tents… that Tent pad couldn’t fit one large one!
