Day 5 was a day of indulgence and education.  We went to the Jerome St park and learned all about the mining history for this area.  It was a great tour/museum!

We then focused on eating and drinking.  We had an awesome pizza before heading off to cadeuceus cellars to spend the afternoon in a wine haze.

After an untold number of glasses we got some dinner and called it a night!

Before that we met a couple who told us about a train to the grand canyon, so we changed all our plans for the next few days, and are staying in Jerome one more night, and then taking the train to the south rim of the grand canyon now!

Saturday and Sunday are looking to be 7+hr days of driving now, but it is what it is 🙂
