Day 2 of the trip.   From driving on twisty rock laden roads (Black Canyon NP), to driving on icy/snowy roads on the Million Dollar Hwy at 11k ft, then to driving around the deserts of south west Colorado and Southern Utah… it was quite a day.  We finished off the day with some steak, and a short drive and hike up a small bluff to catch the sunset on the northern edge of Monument Valley.

This was our longest day of driving of the trip.  We have an easy drive of half the distance to Sedona, AZ to relax, drink some wine, and go on some vineyard/winery tours.

Tonight we are at a crappy Motel in the middle of the desert… cant complain, they have AC, and a gas station next door with Wasatch beer.
